"Doing well by doing good"

As part of our responsibility initiative, we’re fundraising for the Inua Mimi Rescue Center located in Kibera, Nairobi. Inua Mimi is Swahili for “lift me up”. Paschalia Nduku (Shosho) started the center 16 years ago as a single mother and a bread winner to 8 children. She passed through hard times bringing up her own children but through this she new she had the power and courage to raise even more with her warm loving heart.
The center is home to 60 and more who are rescued from the community which faces tribalism, child abandonment, orphan, early marriage, female genital mutilation, poverty and more. They provide shelter, give them basic education, we train them on talents i.e dance, photography, singing and other talents.
